Created according to a traditional recipe with over 1,000 years of history, this style is mainly associated with eastern Germany and, more precisely with the city of Leipzig, Saxony. A sour beer, like the Belgian lambic, the gose is prepared from barley and wheat malts. The characteristic sour and savoury flavor, as well as the traditional aromatic hops and coriander, give this typical spicy and tartly style some distinct aromatic and fruity notes. An intriguing summer beer.
